The program will include the site environments of Containers, Stacks and Silos while mainly concentrating on Phosphine and Methyl bromide fumigants.
The program will also include the on-site practical aspects of fumigant application and live monitoring using a range of the latest detection and monitoring equipment.
Arrangements can be made for additional units that are required in order to meet state licensing requirements in NSW, SA & WA. Please contact us for details specific to your individual state requirements.
The workshop consists of a mix of theory and practical assessments. Students must successfully complete all assessments to be considered competent. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their competency in a real workplace situation, to show that they are able to transfer the skills and knowledge they have acquired during this workshop.
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be issued with a Statement of Attainment, plus the Site Environment Declaration required by Qld Health and a Gas Specific Declaration required by some other states for licensing - Vic, Tas, SA & NT
