You are about to book participants in a WA - AWTM (Advanced Worksite Traffic Management) -05 course.
Course Start date: 21 Mar 2022
Participants will be required to attend a 5 day course including theory and practical aspects required to meet MRWA accreditation for the advance worksite traffic management.
This course provides participants with the theory and practical skills required to prepare both non-complex and complex Traffic Management Plans in WA in accordance with AGTTM, AS1742.3 2019 and MRWA Traffic Management for Works on Roads Code of Practice.
This is a suitable course for people wishing to become a Traffic Management Planner. This course has been designed to be very hands on and practical oriented in so that you can gain “real world” skills allowing you to excel as a Planner.
Upon successful completion, students will be issued with a Main Roads Western Australia Accreditation card and certificate, along with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in the following units:
RIIWHS201D Work safely and follow WHS Policies and Procedures
RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process
RIICWD503E Prepare traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes
Main Roads WA accreditation is valid for 3 years.

All course participants must:
Provide Photo Id
Hold a WorkSafe Construction Safety Awareness (Blue/White) Training Card
Have high level English language literacy and numeracy skills
Have a high level computer literacy skills using Microsoft Word
Evidence of holding or having held a Main Roads Western Australia accreditation in Basic Worksite Traffic Management or an Australian Qualification Frameworks compliant Statement of Attainment in ‘Implement Traffic Management Plan’
Provide a laptop with word processing and a CAD program
